Certificate of originality
Each artwork offered through our gallery comes with a certificate of originality , which confirms the authenticity, origin and authorship of the work. The certificate is duly signed by the author of the work and the gallery and contains identification data allowing its unambiguous assignment to a specific work.
The certificate of originality is issued as a unique document and represents official confirmation of the authenticity of the work at the time of its sale.
Archiving and verification of certificate originality
For the purpose of future verification of originality , a copy of the original certificate of originality is archived in the gallery's records . This archiving serves exclusively to verify the conformity of the data stated on the certificate with the gallery's internal documentation.
At the request of the owner of the work, it is possible to verify the originality of the certificate , for which purpose it is necessary to send a readable copy of the certificate of originality electronically .
- Fee for administrative verification of the originality of the certificate: €30
Verification consists of comparing the data on the certificate with the gallery's archival records. The result of the verification is confirmation of the data's match or mismatch.
Certificate as an integral part of the work
The certificate of originality is sold exclusively together with the work and is considered its integral part . The gallery is not responsible for the consequences resulting from the loss, damage or misuse of the certificate by the owner.
Loss of certificate and physical verification of the work
In the event of loss of the certificate of originality , it is not possible to verify the authenticity of the work remotely . In such a case, verification of originality is possible only through physical delivery of the work to the gallery premises .
After the artwork is delivered to the gallery:
- will conduct a professional assessment of the work's conformity with archival documentation,
- verify the authorship and identifying features of the work,
- and in case of confirmation of originality , a new certificate of originality will be issued .
- Fee for physical verification of the work and issuance of a new certificate: €1,500

By issuing a new certificate, the gallery assumes no responsibility for legal relationships, prior transfers of ownership, or the value of the work on the secondary market . The certificate confirms solely the authenticity of the work at the time of its verification.
